Development of skills projection models in the southern Mediterranean region – NET-MED Youth
The UNESCO project aims to promote youth civic participation by strengthening the capacities of collaborative networks of youth organizations in three key areas: youth policy, media, and youth training and employment. More specifically, in the area of youth training and employment, the consultant supports beneficiary countries in establishing a national skills forecasting model to better align training with the skills required in the job market.

Study on the impact of industrial restructuring on employment and vocational training
The project involved 3 studies (the impact of restructuring on employment and vocational training needs, the development of in-company training and the participation of the private sector in vocational training, the methodology for an employment information system in the context of industrial restructuring), which were used to prepare a loan application to the World Bank in the vocational training and employment sector.

Generalization of the skills-based approach
The project focused on providing structural and operational technical assistance to the vocational training system in order to ensure the generalization of the skills-based approach.

Monitoring trainees using the competency-based approach – PRICAT RECOVERY
The project focused on monitoring trainees using a competency-based approach following the Pricat – Competencies project, which ended in early 2000. It was designed so that the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training could implement part of the training evaluation system with competency-based programs.

Higher Education Reform Project – ISET Component
The CIDE's mandate in this project was to support the creation, implementation, and management of the network of Higher Institutes of Technological Studies (ISETs), including system orientation, definition of the educational and administrative framework, development of the training program for future technology teachers, training of future technology teachers in Tunisia and Canada, development of ISET curricula, and technical assistance to ensure that construction specifications met training needs and that the equipment required to provide training aligned with labor market demands. Development of distance learning course content for Linux and OpenOffice software
The objective of this technical assistance was to provide the training department of Tunisie Télécom with distance learning content for Linux and OpenOffice software (offline and online) and to integrate this content into a tele-training platform (dynamic web application).

Acquisition and implementation of a distance learning platform
The project aimed to assist Tunisie Telecom in developing and implementing a distance learning platform offering both synchronous and asynchronous learning modes. The e-learning platform enabled Tunisie Telecom staff to access online courses via the internet, facilitate discussion forums, organize course schedules, conduct assessments, manage learning paths, manage learners, teachers and tutors, manage training content, manage assessments, and more.

Implementation of an e-learning space at CENAFFIF
Technical assistance was provided to CENAFFIF for the implementation of an e-learning platform. The main objective of the project was to develop the skills required to set up, manage, and maintain an e-learning platform developed using open-source software.

Study on “FAD” distance training on the Internet
The mandate aimed to support the development of online distance learning in Tunisia to meet the growing student population. Project activities included: establishing a profile of online distance learning in Tunisia, proposing possible directions to the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MES) and identifying the key parameters of a national online distance learning strategy, compiling an inventory of potential courses of action and partnership opportunities in distance learning with Canadian institutions and businesses, and planning and conducting training internships and visits to Canadian institutions and businesses.

Creation of a national center for environmental awareness and education
This project aimed to identify and implement a new and sustainable approach to action in education at the national, regional, and local levels by integrating the "Environment" component into primary and secondary school curricula. This new Environmental Education program has enabled primary and secondary school students to develop their knowledge and skills, fostering new values and attitudes that are essential for the sustainability of the movement towards a better quality of life and a healthier environment.
