Study on the development of the national strategy and national action plan for technical education and vocational training (ETFP)

The general objective of the study was to develop the national strategy in technical education and vocational training (ETFP) regarding the new sectoral policy and in accordance with the framework of the Ten-Year Education and Training Program (PDEF) from Senegal. The study made it possible to establish a snapshot of the situation of the vocational training system by collecting data for the analysis and evaluation of the qualification needs of the productive sector, the infrastructures and equipment of the private TVET and public systems, the needs for trainers and supervisory staff, the relevance of the programs and diplomas issued, the methods of making vocational training structures independent, as well as the strategies for financing TVET.

Study of technical and vocational training needs and proposal for reform.

The objective of the study was to carry out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the qualification needs of companies and an analysis of the training offered.

Development of the manual/technical procedures and financial guide for setting up and carrying out training and integration projects

The project aimed to support the Department of Vocational Training through the development of a procedures manual and tools for the development, implementation and monitoring-evaluation of training and integration projects (PFI), the definition of a global strategy and tools for the development of public-private partnership (PPP) at the level of training establishments, a procedure for establishing performance contracts and the training of stakeholders in the use of the manual and developed management tools.
