Study on the development of the national strategy and national action plan for technical and vocational education and training (TVET)

The overall objective of the study was to develop the national strategy for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in line with the new sectoral policy and in accordance with the framework of Senegal's Ten-Year Education and Training Program (PDEF). The study established a profile of the current state of the vocational training system by collecting data for the analysis and evaluation of the skills needs of the productive sector, the infrastructure and equipment of the private and public TVET system, the needs for trainers and supervisory staff, the relevance of the programs and diplomas awarded, the methods for empowering vocational training institutions, and TVET financing strategies.

Study of technical and vocational training needs and proposal for reform.

The objective of the study was to carry out a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the qualification needs of companies and an analysis of the training offer.

Development of the procedures manual/technical and financial guide for the planning and implementation of training and integration projects

The project aimed to support the Department of Vocational Training through the development of a procedures manual and tools for the development, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of training and integration projects (PFI), the definition of an overall strategy and tools for developing public-private partnerships (PPPs) at the level of training establishments, a procedure for establishing performance contracts and the training of stakeholders in the use of the manual and management tools developed.
