Study on the revision of the statutes of higher education staff
The aim of the study was to assess the situation of higher education staff, to propose a framework for updating the higher education statute that takes into account the objectives of the National Education Sector Development Program, to create a statute for administrative, technical, and service staff in institutions, to create specific statutes for university hospital staff and professors of technology, and to formulate recommendations for the status of researchers. Study on the development of teaching and research programs at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies of Rosso
The creation of the Rosso Higher Institute of Technological Studies (ISET) aimed to support and develop agricultural, pastoral, and food technology activities by increasing skilled personnel and conducting applied research addressing issues related to the development objectives of Mauritania's rural sector. Within this framework, the CIDE (Center for International Development Studies) carried out a study that enabled the development of the Institute's training programs and the establishment of research management mechanisms.

Development of a national classification of training sectors and a certification framework
As part of this project, the CIDE reviewed and analyzed existing reference documents and studies in the field of employment, then proposed a classification of training specializations, and finally analyzed existing regulatory texts. The CIDE also provided training to stakeholders and users on the content of the classification and the structure of the certifications developed.

Implementation of an integrated information and management system for the autonomous FAP-FTP fund supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in Mauritania
The project involved the design and implementation of an integrated management portal and information system for the FAP-FTP, the development of an operating procedure for the continuing education funding system, the development of a computerization scheme for the training funding system, and the design and implementation of a computer portal for the integrated management of the funding system.

Institutional Strengthening Program in Technological Matters in Francophone Africa (16 countries)
The PRIMTAF II program aimed to address two priorities of the Canadian development assistance program: good governance and private sector development. It sought to support more rigorous management of public vocational and technical education and training institutions, as well as skills development, to better meet the qualification needs of the target countries. In this context, CIDE was mandated to administer and monitor the program and to act as a technical advisor to the Canadian and African institutions involved in project implementation.
