Implementation of a sectoral study of the employment market in Iraq and Kurdistan
The project comprises several interconnected interventions, including the development of a decentralized governance model and a national qualifications framework for the TVET sector; the development of a new curriculum framework, as well as demand-driven programs in selected disciplines; the provision of training for TVET teachers, trainers, and management staff; and the creation of standardized frameworks for collaboration with employers and the school facilitation program to support transitions for TVET graduates. The aim of this component is to provide TVET policymakers and stakeholders with the necessary information to minimize the gap between labor market demands and training opportunities.
